Devonport Entertainment & Convention Centre

The Devonport Entertainment and Convention Centre is centrally located in the heart of Devonport. The Centre offers superb views of the Mersey River which is home to the passenger & vehicle ferries Spirit of Tasmania 1 & 2. This service runs daily between Melbourne & Devonport.

Devonport’s CBD is situated less than a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal and approx 15 minutes from the airport with daily flights directly to Melbourne.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are available for purchase from the DECC Box Office. They come in any denomination and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

The Devonport Entertainment & Convention Centre opened in 2001 and is housed in two magnificent Federation buildings, the Devonport Town Hall which was built in 1899 and the Courthouse which opened in 1903.

This modern multi-purpose complex is North West Tasmania's premiere performing arts and convention centre comprising of a proscenium arch theatre, foyer, three function rooms and a licensed café. The venue offers the flexibility to allow arrangement to suit your specific requirements.

A fully equipped theatre hosts the Centre’s annual Theatre and Music Season as well as a range of top class community and professional performances.

The DECC is a significant cultural and community asset and forms a focal point of the City's cultural activities.
